PROTOUCHGLOBAL ANNOUNCES NEW CONTINENTAL TEAM FOR 2021

Switzerland’s ProTouchGlobal athlete and sports management in cooperation with Japanese construction company NIPPO Corporation is excited to announce the launch of a new UCI Continental cycling team for the next racing season.

The Swiss based team, to be known as Team NIPPO-Provence-PTS Conti, will be headed up by Swiss Team Manager Marcello Albasini. Most recently Marcello was Swiss National Coach for men’s Elite and U23.

“This is a great opportunity for our roster of young riders, and I am looking forward to working with them and with our team of sponsors to build something special for the future”, says Marcello Albasini.

Essentially a development team to support, foster and encourage young riders, the team is made up of talent from around the world:

From Switzerland –Jonathan Bögli (20), Fabio Christen (18), Kevin Kuhn (22) & Luca Jenni (18)

From Ethiopia – Hagos Welay Berhe (19) & Bazaye Redae Tesfu (18)

From France – Jonathan Couanon (23) & Robin Meyer (24)

From Japan –  Hijiri Oda (22)

From Norway – Iver Knotten (22)

From Poland – Szymon Tracz (22)

From Russia – Matvey Mamykin (26)

Also participating in this exciting new venture is Provence, a group of southern
French businesses and ProTouchStaff BV, a new Dutch sports staffing platform.
The project is also supported by EF Education First and Cannondale.
